MY STORY

My name is Emily, and I am a Canadian-born photographer based out of Oxford, UK. For as long as I can remember, I have loved photography. I was gifted a small canon point-and-shoot when I turned 12 and I haven’t stopped taking photographs since.

I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and have been living in the UK for the last eight years. I hold a Masters in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh, and a certificate in Digital and Analog photography from Parsons School of Design in New York. I am an avid traveler and tea drinker, and I always love any excuse to get outside. Also, dogs. I really love dogs.

One of the many things that draws me to photography is its ability to capture a beautiful, fleeting moment and make it timeless.  Through my work, I always strive to capture natural, magical moments and make them ones that you can relive over and over again. To me, photographs are one of the best ways to be reminded of all the things we have to be grateful for. As your photographer, my goal is to be a fly on the wall and to quietly observe and capture the tender little moments that show the love, joy and magic of your day.

I spend most of my time between Oxford and Toronto, and am very happy to travel. I would love to hear from you and talk about how we can work together, so please get in touch!
