Chris & Georgina's Stylish Kent Wedding

Having seen quite a few weddings now, I am always surprised by how different each one is. Every wedding that I have shot has been a lovely insight into the couples I've worked with, with each detail speaking to their unique stories and personalities. This was particularly true of Chris and Georgina's stunning Kent wedding back in August.

Chris and Georgina both work in the creative/fashion industry, and you could really tell from their wedding day. Every element was so stylish and original; the tiny old rural church, the handmade Gypsophila hanging above the alter, Georgina's beautiful dress (designed and cut by a close friend of hers), and the 50-piece brass band playing old classics at the reception (to name only a few). It was a beautiful celebration in a beautiful place, and it was SO much fun to capture.

With each couple that I work with, I always like to get to know them before and find out what they feel are the most important elements of their big day. While this is important from a photography perspective, I also just love asking, because often the answer is an important detail or project that they've put a lot of effort into that I otherwise might not have known about and that lets me into my couples' world a bit more. There were quite a few of these special details in Chris and Georgina's wedding, and I really enjoyed capturing them throughout the day.

I hope you enjoy the shots! Looking forward to sharing more summer weddings on the blog soon :)
